The role of diet & lifestyle in health
Diet and lifestyle play a significant role in our health. In fact, recent evidence suggests that genetics are only responsible for about 15% of the risk of chronic disease. That means that 85% of the risk is down to diet and lifestyle factors – many of which are within our control (1).
There is now a great deal of evidence that suggests that healthy dietary patterns reduce the risk of chronic diseases such as diabetes, cardiovascular disease and some cancers.

About Me
I am a BANT Registered Nutritional Therapist practising in Wimbledon in South London (and also online). I specialise in myalgic encephalomyelitis/chronic fatigue syndrome (ME/CFS) and gut health.
My interest in nutrition came from my own struggles that began in my twenties with skin problems, and then in my thirties with chronic fatigue syndrome (CFS) and gut problems.
